Born in October 2020, AKC/ACA Sonny Blue came to us from Hill Ridge Meadows in Missouri. He is a perfect fit for our doodle breeding program. He is not interested in chasing the birds that roam this farm and he is an energetic but gentle, loving soul – a perfect match for the temperament we are breeding for.
Also athletic and motivated to please his people, Sonny doesn’t require a bunch of attention, and yet he loves checking in for a head pat! He is content to walk beside me and ok to take a nap on his own. He keeps an ear out for visitors and watches over the kids. He gets along well with other dogs and is a joy to have around!
Sonny received “good” scores on his preliminary OFA hip and elbows and patellas tested negative for problems. His final OFA scores are no different! No evidence of elbow dysplasia, no patella issues, and a “Good” score on hip conformation! Sonny is “all clear” on his genetic testing and has been color-coat tested. He is At at kbkb EMe BB SS Mm. His Merle gene is (mM) should bring 50% Merles in offspring.
He is Doodle and Poodle friendly and available for stud. All females must be color coat tested, at a minimum. We will not breed to obtain double merles, ever. We will consider pick of the litter in lieu of a stud fee ONLY if the female has been DNA tested has proof of OFA hip/elbow certifications.
We can collect and ship semen at the owner’s expense as well.
