Roxie PR
Roxie was born in December 2019 and she came to us at six months of age. Roxie is the reason we are breeding Doodles! We wanted to make her the best guardian dog a family could have so we decided to breed her and fell in love with the Pyredoodle mix.
After careful consideration, we decided to breed her to a Standard Poodle stud named Phoenix for her first litter. She was an amazing mother and passed her temperament and good manners on to her babies. They did not jump, bite, dig, or chew on things! They continue to astound their owners with their sweet, calm and intelligent personalities.
Out of this first litter, Roxie had two curly white Parti pups, a straight-haired brown brindle, blue brindle, and white parti and a wavy-sable who has turned the most unique white color with a dark muzzle! The wire-haired pups have grown to look more like Irish Wolfhounds and they are non-shedding as well! Roxie was bred to Sonny for her second litter and they produced 9 healthy pups. One apricot, one parchment, six blacks/black and whites and one merle! Only one out of 15 puppies has indicated shedding.
Many of Roxie’s offspring are being trained as service dogs and companion dogs. Several live in apartments, which is easy for their owners because of their calm temperaments!
Roxie is DNA tested 100% Great Pyrenees and ICA registered. Additionally, we are able to register her offspring through the ICA. She is “all clear” with genetic testing through Embark. She has had her hips and elbows evaluated by radiography by our local vet in a natural position and the results showed great conformation, tight joints, and no evidence of elbow dysplasia.
Ava PR
Born September 2021, Ava came to us from North Carolina. We chose Ava because we wanted another livestock guardian dog to patrol the farm when one was out of service due to raising puppies and also because of her unique wavy coat (more apparent when she was younger)!
Ava is AKC and ACA registered and clear with Embark genetic tests. Her preliminary OFA results are “good” for hips, and show no evidence for elbow dysplasia. Ava has a quiet personality and is easy to get along with. She has beautiful eyes and is an excellent and kind guard dog, although a little shy at times. Her pups will be registered with ICA as well. She is protective and classic “hang back and check things out” GP attitude. She loves to be brushed and will lay down and let the littles brush her for hours. She is an excellent mama letting pups nurse 10 weeks sometimes! We are planning a Spring 2024 litter with Sonny!
Soleil PR
Born January 2021, Soleil is a beloved Pyredoodle. She has a GP disposition in a doodle body. She is slender and active, a wonderful mama, and excellent at alerting us to visitors on the farm. She warms up to friendly guests and she has a big bark that makes unknown visitors think twice.
Soleil is ICA and ADR registered and clear with Embark genetic tests with the exception of recessive copy of canine multifocal retinopathy cmr1. Her hips and elbows have been evaluated as healthy by a veterinarian and her OFA will be completed once her current litter has weaned.
Lilac O’Mohican
Born October 2020, Lilac is our AKC and ACA pedigreed Bernese Mountain Dog. Her genetic testing show her DM clear and vWD1 clear. OFA hips good and elbows are normal with no evidence of dysplasia. Lilac has a calm attitude and is eager to please. She’s been a great mama, but due to a uterine infection after giving birth, she is now spayed. We love this sweet girl, but she will be looking for forever home after her current pups are weaned.
